I am still adjusting to the knowledge I have MS (diagnosis was 3 months ago) and I a question or tow about Avonex.
Has anyone else had big, red welts show up at the injection site and stay for more than a week after the injection? This just started and it's kinda worrying me - not sure if its a side effect or my skin/body being sensitive to the adhesive from band-aids. Also, does anyone else get really sore, cramping legs the day after giving the injection??
TIA!!!

Does anyone else out there have a delayed reaction with their Avonex side effects? Since I started back on treatment a few weeks ago, I've found that I feel fine for about 24 hours and THEN the flu-like stuff kicks in. This is totally different than when I was on it in the past (from 2001 until about a year ago), when I felt lousy for about the first day and it subsided. I just find it the change a bit unusual and wonder what is causing it. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Hey Guys,
Please post here if you wish to discuss tonight episode "Appendicitement"
There will be spoilers in this post, so if you don't want to know what happens don't look! But if you are anything like me you probably will!
Please play nice and don't start any drama as the mods are watching!
PLUS the episode will be available to view online at www.cbs.com at some point later on. But sadly wont be available to people like me outside of the USA.

He talks a bit about CSI, and the differences between US and British crime shows. Pretty interesting!
